Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end/year-end closing processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning initiatives
- Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization
- Mentor and develop junior accounting staff through training and performance management
- Collaborate with executive team on financial strategy and business development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA required
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ years in leadership role
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience managing audits and regulatory compliance processes
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive reporting
- Experience in multinational accounting preferred
