Responsibilities
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate financial reporting
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for 15+ business units
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Drive process improvements in financial systems and reporting workflows
- Mentor and develop a team of 4 accounting professionals
- Present financial insights to executive leadership and board committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/MBA preferred
- 10+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ in leadership
- Expertise in complex financial reporting (SEC filings a plus)
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel modeling
- Demonstrated success in process optimization and team development
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory compliance
- Experience in financial services or private equity a significant advantage
