Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with precision and timeliness
- Lead financial reporting initiatives including SEC filings and investor communications
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Manage audit processes and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Mentor junior accounting staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Optimize financial systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/MBA strongly preferred
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with 3+ in leadership
- Expertise in SEC reporting and complex financial statement preparation
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and financial analytics tools
- Demonstrated success in process improvement and team management
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to regulatory detail
- Strong communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration
