Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for executive decision support
- Manage financial reporting requirements for investors, regulators, and stakeholders
- Direct accounts payable, receivable, and payroll operations
- Implement process improvements using automation technologies
- Mentor accounting staff and ensure team development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA required
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ in leadership
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel modeling
- Experience in manufacturing or SaaS industries preferred
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
