Responsibilities
- Oversee all month-end/year-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for 15+ investment portfolios
- Develop and implement internal controls ensuring SOX compliance and audit readiness
- Manage financial reporting to LPs, SEC, and regulatory bodies
- Lead process optimization initiatives using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Mentor 5+ financial analysts through performance management and career development
- Collaborate with investment teams on portfolio valuation and risk assessment
Qualifications
- CPA certification with 8+ years in financial control or similar role
- Advanced proficiency in Excel modeling and financial reporting tools
- Experience with SEC reporting and private equity fund accounting
- Proven track record leading SOX compliance programs
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder management
- Master's degree in Finance/Accounting or MBA preferred
- Experience with ERP implementations (SAP/Oracle)
