Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes with 100% accuracy
- Oversee financial reporting and compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS standards
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
- Drive process improvements in financial systems and reporting tools
- Mentor and develop the finance team through performance coaching
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 7+ years post-qualification experience
- Proven track record in financial control within investment banking or asset management
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Demonstrated experience managing complex financial reporting cycles
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into strategic insights
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience leading cross-functional financial projects
