Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting operations, including General Ledger, AP/AR, and payroll.
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure strict adherence to GAAP.
- Drive the development of scalable financial reporting systems and internal control frameworks.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with department heads.
- Manage external audit relationships and tax compliance filings.
- Provide detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives.
- Mentor and lead a growing team of accounting professionals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA license is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in financial services or investment firms.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Sage Intacct) and Excel.
- Proven ability to interpret financial data and communicate complex insights to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Experience managing financial teams and improving departmental workflows.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, analytical mindset.
