Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes with strict adherence to GAAP and SEC regulations
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure audit readiness
- Analyze financial performance metrics and provide actionable insights to executive leadership
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for multi-million dollar operations
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
- Mentor finance team members and drive continuous process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 10+ years progressive finance experience with 5+ years in a senior controller role
- Deep expertise in SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and international financial standards
- Proficiency in financial systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel modeling
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations
