Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls.
- Perform in-depth variance analysis to identify trends, explain variances to management, and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency and resource allocation.
- Prepare high-level executive presentations and narrative reporting for board meetings and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support business development strategies.
- Oversee the reconciliation of intercompany accounts and interdepartmental transactions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or investment banking.
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CFA) is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VBA, PivotTables, Lookups) and financial modeling software.
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business narratives.
- Strong analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
