Responsibilities
- Lead Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Develop and maintain accurate 3-year financial forecasts and annual operating budgets.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct rigorous analysis of actual vs. budget performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Process Optimization: Streamline accounting workflows and implement automation tools to increase operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders and leadership in a clear, compelling manner.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Support M&A activities and special projects requiring detailed financial due diligence.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; MBA or CPA/CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance or accounting, preferably within a high-growth environment.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, PivotTables) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Analytics: Strong ability to analyze large datasets and translate them into actionable business intelligence.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of internal controls and financial regulatory compliance.
