Responsibilities
- Lead complex financial modeling and valuation analyses for M&A transactions and investment opportunities
- Conduct in-depth market research and due diligence to identify emerging trends and risks
- Prepare executive-ready financial reports and presentations for investment committees
- Develop financial forecasts and scenario analyses to inform strategic decisions
- Collaborate with portfolio companies to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency
- Monitor macroeconomic indicators and regulatory changes affecting investment strategies
- Mentor junior analysts and lead cross-functional financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, complex modeling) and financial software (Bloomberg, FactSet)
- Demonstrated expertise in valuation methodologies (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex financial data
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to executive stakeholders
- Series 7 and 63/66 licenses required or ability to obtain within 90 days
