Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support long-term strategic planning and budgeting processes.
- Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between actual results and forecasts, providing actionable insights to leadership.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize working capital.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- CPA, CFA, or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or forecasting within a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and financial reporting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-financial audiences.
