Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for key business units.
- Perform complex variance analysis and provide detailed explanations for financial discrepancies to senior management.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support capital allocation and strategic decision-making.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
- Collaborate with operations and sales teams to understand business drivers and identify areas for revenue enhancement.
- Streamline financial reporting processes by implementing automation and improving data integrity.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate accounting, or FP&A.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CFA designation is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and financial reporting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and present findings clearly.
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional projects and mentoring junior analysts.
