Responsibilities
- Lead Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasts to ensure accurate financial modeling and strategic alignment.
- Prepare Complex Reports: Develop and present high-level financial statements, variance analysis, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize financial workflows and implement new reporting tools to increase efficiency.
- Strategic Advisory: Partner with department heads to interpret financial data and support major business decisions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial reporting adheres to UK GAAP and internal control standards.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior analysts and conduct training sessions on financial best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Certifications: CFA, ACCA, ACA, or CPA qualification is a strong advantage.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
