Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis to explain differences between actual results and the budget/forecast, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Develop complex financial models and forecasts to support long-term strategic planning and capital budgeting decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Present financial data to senior management and the board of directors in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree (MBA) or CPA/CFA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or accounting.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) and financial reporting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business insights.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
