Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for portfolio valuation and risk assessment
- Analyze market trends to inform strategic investment decisions and capital allocation
- Prepare executive-level financial reports and presentations for stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional projects to optimize financial processes and compliance frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts while maintaining rigorous data governance standards
- Collaborate with investment teams to evaluate M&A opportunities and market expansion
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure adherence to SEC and FINRA requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in investment banking or asset management
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, LBO, M&A) and Excel
- Expertise in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and automation
- Deep understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting standards
- Proven track record of presenting to executive leadership and boards
- Series 7 and Series 63/66 certifications required
- Experience with Bloomberg Terminal and FactSet essential
