Responsibilities
- Design and execute sophisticated financial models for M&A valuations, capital raises, and investment analysis
- Lead quarterly business reviews with executive stakeholders, presenting variance analysis and strategic recommendations
- Develop and maintain automated financial reporting dashboards using Power BI and SQL
- Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to inform strategic financial planning
- Collaborate with investment teams to structure complex financial instruments and risk mitigation strategies
- Mentor junior analysts and drive continuous improvement in financial processes
- Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and internal financial controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or asset management
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, LBO, M&A) and valuation methodologies
- Advanced Excel skills (VBA, macros, complex formulas) and data visualization expertise
- Deep understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and SEC reporting requirements
- Proven ability to translate complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience with Bloomberg Terminal, FactSet, and capital markets platforms
