Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term strategic planning processes for key business units.
- Reporting & Compliance: Prepare complex monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring full compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct in-depth variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing clear recommendations to management.
- Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support capital budgeting, M&A activities, and pricing strategies.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current financial workflows and implement process improvements to enhance data accuracy and reporting speed.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to department heads, presenting financial data in a clear, compelling, and actionable manner.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a strong plus).
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate accounting, or investment banking.
- Certifications: CPA, CMA, or CFA certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
