Responsibilities
- Lead Financial Planning & Forecasting: Own the annual budgeting, quarterly rolling forecasts, and long-term strategic planning processes for the organization.
- Advanced Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze market trends, revenue projections, and capital allocation scenarios.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth variance analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis, identifying root causes of deviations and recommending corrective actions to executive leadership.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present intricate financial data and strategic recommendations to senior management and board members in a clear, compelling, and concise manner.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in financial reporting systems and implement process improvements to enhance data accuracy and reporting speed.
- Capital Management: Assist in the management of capital expenditures and provide insights into ROI for new business initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree (MBA) is a strong plus.
- Certifications: CPA, CFA, or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or investment banking within a high-growth environment.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA, Macros) and SQL; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) is required.
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business strategies.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
