Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Develop comprehensive financial models and forecasts to support long-term strategic planning and capital budgeting.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Collaborate with department heads to create and manage annual operating budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Assist in the preparation of board presentations and executive summaries.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and regulatory requirements.
- Streamline financial reporting processes by implementing best practices and automation tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree (MBA) preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate accounting, or investment banking.
- Professional certification (CPA, CFA, or CMA) is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
