Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making and long-term forecasting.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in financial performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to budget for and forecast revenue streams and capital expenditures.
- Optimize financial processes and data integrity to ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal policies.
- Present financial insights to stakeholders in a clear, compelling, and visually engaging manner.
- Assist in the valuation of potential M&A targets and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- CFA or ACA qualified (or equivalent advanced financial degree).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or Investment Banking.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros).
- Strong working knowledge of SQL or Python for data extraction is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of financial statements, GAAP/IFRS, and UK tax compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems under tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for executive-level presentations.
