Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure strict adherence to GAAP and internal control policies.
- Lead the audit preparation process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree (MBA) preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in financial accounting and reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial data to stakeholders.
