Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with strict adherence to deadlines
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Analyze financial performance metrics and variance reports for executive leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Oversee audit processes and liaise with external auditors
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros) and ERP systems
- Demonstrated experience with complex reconciliations and intercompany accounting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
