Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing variance analysis and recommendations for cost control.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare supporting documentation for external audits and internal controls reviews.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial accounting and reporting.
- Proven experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP or Oracle.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VBA macros.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
