- Prepare and analyze complex monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with reconciliations across 15+ accounts
- Develop financial models for forecasting and variance analysis with 95%+ accuracy
- Collaborate with auditors during SOX compliance reviews and external examinations
- Implement process improvements in financial reporting workflows
- Mentor junior accounting staff through technical training sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA required
- 5+ years public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel modeling
- Demonstrated success in managing SOX compliance and audit readiness
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail (0.1% error tolerance)
- Ability to simplify complex financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders
