Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Prepare complex financial statements and variance analyses for executive leadership.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and accruals.
- Lead internal and external audit preparations, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
