Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with strict adherence to GAAP and SEC regulations
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and financial modeling for executive decision support
- Manage SOX compliance documentation and internal control testing procedures
- Mentor junior accountants while maintaining ownership of key accounting processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with experience in financial modeling tools
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and SEC reporting requirements
- Demonstrated experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
