As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting functions, from month-end close activities to complex financial analysis. Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Manage general ledger accounts, perform reconciliations, and investigate variances.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial reports, including variance analysis and budget vs. actuals.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and local regulatory requirements.
- Assist in external audits and coordinate with auditors to provide requested documentation.
- Streamline accounting workflows and recommend process enhancements for efficiency.
- Provide ad-hoc financial support and analysis to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
