Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with rigorous reconciliation procedures
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Manage audit processes and documentation for external auditors
- Optimize financial systems and reporting tools for enhanced efficiency
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical guidance on complex transactions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public/private sector blend
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
