Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes for multi-entity portfolios
- Lead GAAP-compliant financial statement preparation and analysis
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with audit teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes
- Mentor junior accountants while maintaining accuracy in deliverables
- Analyze variance reports and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with Big 4 or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle/SAP) and Excel modeling
- Demonstrated expertise in SOX compliance and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to complex financial details
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
