Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead internal control audits and SOX compliance initiatives
- Develop financial models for forecasting and variance analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and strategic planning
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate sector
- Expertise in complex financial reporting and consolidation processes
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel modeling
- Demonstrated experience with SOX 404 compliance and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability
