Responsibilities
- Manage complex month-end and year-end closing processes with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth review cycles
- Develop and implement financial controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Oversee account reconciliations and variance analysis for key balance sheet accounts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Mentor junior accountants while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical abilities with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Proven track record of leading successful audit processes
