Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deliverables are accurate, complete, and reported within strict deadlines.
- Prepare complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with US GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Perform rigorous account reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead and support external audits and internal control reviews, ensuring transparency and compliance.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Maintain and improve internal accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial accounting, reporting, and general ledger management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
