Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including consolidated balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with rigorous reconciliation procedures
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and audit readiness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial planning and forecasting initiatives
- Manage client relationships as primary point of contact for financial reporting inquiries
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and automation tools
- Mentor junior accountants and conduct training on financial best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/MBA preferred
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-entity consolidations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query) and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven track record of process optimization and automation implementation
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present to executive stakeholders
- Certification in ERP implementation (SAP FICO or Oracle Financials) highly desirable
