- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for financial systems
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and forecasting
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process optimization initiatives
- Collaborate with investment teams on portfolio valuation and performance metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in financial services
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and SEC reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel modeling
- Proven experience with audit coordination and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder collaboration
- Experience with portfolio accounting or investment funds is highly desirable
