As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the integrity of our financial data, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, and providing actionable insights to senior management. Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Ensure tax compliance by preparing required tax returns and supporting documentation.
- Lead, mentor, and train junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferred.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
