Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and financial risks.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including preparation of tax filings and audits.
- Manage and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial forecasting and budget support.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) to streamline financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Deep understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
