Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead complex account reconciliations and internal control implementations
- Manage audit processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop financial models for forecasting and variance analysis
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
- Ensure SOX compliance documentation and testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state taxation and international accounting
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven project management experience in financial reporting
- Knowledge of accounting software implementations
