Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements for SEC reporting
- Lead month-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage SOX compliance testing and internal control documentation
- Develop financial models for investment portfolio valuation and performance analysis
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations
- Mentor junior accounting staff on GAAP standards and best practices
Qualifications
- CPA certification required with 5+ years public accounting or corporate experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (SAP, Oracle)
- Demonstrated experience with SEC filings and complex financial instruments
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in investment management or private equity preferred
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
