Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for multi-entity portfolios
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for asset valuation and reporting
- Coordinate external audits and regulatory reporting with third-party firms
- Implement process improvements in financial reporting workflows
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional stakeholders
- Support M&A transaction accounting and integration activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years in public accounting or corporate finance with Big 4 experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SAP, and financial reporting tools
- Deep expertise in SEC filings and investment company accounting
- Proven track record in complex consolidations and intercompany eliminations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in high-volume environments
- Experience with hedge fund/private equity accounting a major plus
