Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Develop and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Manage complex accounts including intercompany transactions and consolidations
- Automate financial reporting processes using ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP)
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvements initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP) and Excel modeling
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing month-end close and financial audits
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
- Proven ability to lead process improvement projects
