Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Manage complex tax filings and coordinate with external auditors to ensure seamless annual audits.
- Optimize internal controls and accounting workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide strategic budget-to-actual variance analysis to executive leadership.
- Oversee fixed asset management and depreciation schedules across multiple entities.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and review journal entries for technical accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is strictly required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within public accounting or a large corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
- Expert-level Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and complex modeling.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP and current financial reporting standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-finance stakeholders.
