Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP and IFRS.
- Manage general ledger accounting functions, including the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies with high precision.
- Assist in the preparation of complex tax documentation and ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Support external audits by providing requested documentation and addressing auditor inquiries efficiently.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support budgeting initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- CPA certification or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial accounting, reporting, and auditing.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
