Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end closing processes and reconcile complex general ledger accounts
- Manage internal controls and SOX compliance documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Conduct detailed financial audits and provide strategic recommendations
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of leading month-end close processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
