Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with auditors during external financial reviews and ensure seamless compliance
- Manage complex reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and intercompany transactions
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with insightful variance analysis
- Mentor junior accountants and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, GAAP, and SOX compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex financial data to stakeholders
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and sales/use tax filings
