Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze complex monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reconciliation of bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Coordinate with external auditors during year-end audits and tax filings.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in budget preparation and long-term financial forecasting for executive leadership.
- Provide detailed financial analysis and variance reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree (MBA) is a plus.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial accounting, auditing, or related fields.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
