Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and corporate policies.
- Assist in the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and providing necessary documentation.
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support executive decision-making.
- Reconcile complex bank accounts and credit card statements, resolving discrepancies efficiently.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate invoicing.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance departmental efficiency and workflow automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial accounting and reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of U.S. tax regulations and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
