Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accurate journal entries and reconciliations
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Manage SOX compliance documentation and process improvements
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
- Interface with external auditors and tax authorities during examinations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP Oracle) and Excel modeling
- Demonstrated expertise in SOX compliance and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
- Experience with multinational consolidations and intercompany transactions
- Proven ability to lead process improvement initiatives
