Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with detailed variance reporting
- Lead internal control audits and ensure SOX compliance documentation
- Collaborate with FP&A teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile complex balance sheet items
- Develop process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (SAP Oracle) and Excel modeling
- Demonstrated experience leading month-end close processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
