Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare complex financial statements in compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards
- Analyze variance reports and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
- Lead internal audits and ensure SOX compliance across financial operations
- Develop and maintain robust financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows
- Mentor junior accountants and drive continuous process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven track record of managing month-end closing processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex financial data clearly
